On 13th September 2024, at the ReThink HK event in Hong Kong, Our CEO Michael Keppe, GCCHK board member, and co-lead of the Sustainability Working Group, delivered an impactful speech titled “AI for Sustainable Practices: Bridging Innovation and Sustainability.” His presentation focused on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in driving green initiatives within the retail sector, offering valuable insights into the future of sustainable practices.
During the event, He shared his vision of how AI can foster sustainable innovation in retail and also presented the Sustainability Working Group’s brochure, "Towards a Greener Tomorrow: Encouraging Sustainable Practices." This comprehensive guide outlines key EU regulations on supply chain due diligence and underscores the importance of adopting sustainable business models. Additionally, it addresses the potential risks facing mainland Chinese manufacturers who may fail to comply with these regulations, emphasizing the urgent need for sustainability in business operations.
