Design Project Manager

Responsibilities (Team Leading):

  1. Manages and leads team member to assess the performance
  2. Use empowerment, trust and other strategies to develop and motivate team members
  3. Communicate expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally
  4. Regular reviews of internal procedures and work quality with connected departments
  5. Monitor team performance together with the different team leader or member
  6. Influence valuable changes and positive development by setting clear team goals, delegating tasks and set deadlines for an internal team (Smartsheet Open Task Tracker)
  7. Conduct regular team meetings to update on best practices and continuing expectations
  8. Communicate and monitor company workflows/guidelines to team members
  9. Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts. Set a behavioral code if necessary
  10. Provide help to management in HK, including training, and keeps management updated on team performance
  11. Assist management with probation/annual team member’s reviews, hiring processes and new team member training and orientation
  12. Encourage creativity, risk-taking and knowledge/ skill sharing among colleagues

Responsibilities (Project Management):

  1. Manages and leads the Localization and Publishing team to achieve project profitability target and on-time delivery
  2. Plan and consider outsource opportunities
  3. Assigns responsibilities to staff and insist on feedback at the allotted time
  4. Handling complaints (from both staff and customers) and fixing corrective action plans (CAPA)
  5. Conflict management if there is a dispute on resource management
  6. Handle any ad-hoc projects and other duties assigned by the management
  7. Daily meeting with coordination team for project planning
  8. Weekly meeting with production teams for project planning
  9. Report to the client and solve & follow up on issues raised by the client


  1. At least 5 years’ experience in translation agency or localization or language field with at least 2 years at managerial level
  2. Experience in Translation and Localization industry
  3. Diploma or certificate in PMP or related fields
  4. Excellent of both written and spoken of English is a must
  5. Good project & time management skills with high efficiency
  6. Critical and logical thinking analytical thought process
  7. Detail-minded, independent and self-motivated
  8. Excellent strong communication, leadership, analytical, professional ethics and problem-solving skills
  9. Good team player, proactive with good passion and commitment
  10. Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  11. Able to work under pressure
  12. Able to work on site (Ortigas, Pasig)
